Did the Covid-19 Pandemic Really Start in Early 2020?
Some sources show it started much earlier...
According to China, the outbreak started in Wuhan on December 27, 2019 and had rapidly spread across the entire world in just three months. China’s CCP Concealed SARS-CoV-2 Presence in China as Far Back as March 2018 (The Ethical Skeptic - November 15, 2021) This post by Ethical Skeptic provides a pretty compelling argument that the first SARS-CoV-2 virus came from a lab leak in China in early 2018 and spread through much of southeast Asia as a “mystery flu” in 2018/2019. This early variant wasn’t terribly dangerous and mostly affected those over age 85.

Were Some Folks a Little TOO Prepared for This Pandemic? (Bad Cattitude - September 30, 2021) El Gato Malo asks some excellent questions about the timing of the pandemic and the speed at which we brought vaccines to trial. And mentions that Bill Gates bought shares in BioNTech in September 2019.
Coronavirus Was In U.S. Weeks Earlier Than Previously Known, Study Says (NPR - December 1, 2020) This article by NPR focuses on a study (see link below) where researchers studied U.S. blood samples drawn in December 2019 and January 2020. They found evidence of coronavirus antibodies in 106 blood samples. Note that they didn’t go further back than December.
Serologic Testing of US Blood Donations to Identify Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)–Reactive Antibodies: December 2019–January 2020 (Clinical Infectious Diseases - November 30, 2020) This study tested archived blood samples and found that the SARS-CoV-2 virus had already spread across the United States (including Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and California) in late December 2019/early January 2020.
